Meltdown!

Week 6 has come and gone, and I think one thing has been answered. We finally figure out what Your Team Sucks at. No, not kickball, your teams are pretty good at that.

This week Your Team Sucks put up a valiant effort against the Lake Minnetonka Purifiers, but couldn't pull off a win. Maybe it was the unorthodox, overhand screwball pitching, Maybe it was the fact that the Godless Whores nixed Your Team Sucks' theme music, or maybe it was the fact that the Jell-o beans for the incentive program began melting in the heat 10 seconds after they were taken out of the cooler. We're just not sure.

The game started out looking pretty competitive. Both teams used some bunts and well placed kicks to move people around the bases. Unfortunately for Your Team Sucks, our offense melted along with the Jell-o shots.

LMP managed to overcome Seppie's breaking fastball to put a few insurance runs on the board and Your Team Sucks wasn't able to respond despite the fact LMP had some troubles catching Mile High Pop-ups. I think by the end of the game most of us just wanted to hit the air conditioned bar.

The Big-E and the KY Slick move of the game goes is going to go to the same person, and he's on the opposite team. They go to that guy from LMP (Dave?) who slid into first and forgot to tie his shorts... Glad you were wearing boxers weren't ya?

Now postgame was a different story. This is where Your Team Sucks showed where, well, Your Team Sucks. Partying. It was definitely a sad showing this week by just about anyone not wearing black. The heat must have sucked the flip-cuppiness right out of everyone. Team Darkside would not go down easy though, we played some hardcore flip-cup and even made random people join in when we couldn't get enough kickballers. In the only known one on one match of the night, Damon from LMP managed to wrestle the amateur bracket (2 Cup) title from Nick B, Congrats!

The Big-E of the postgame goes to all the other teams who skipped out on Flip-Cup. The KY Slick Move of the Postgame goes to Mike B for actually staying somewhat sober this week.

See you all next week, and you better be prepared for some hardcore flip-cup!
